Hokay, there’s nothing worse than grabbing a snack at the store and then realizing it has 50 ingredients in it that you know won’t sit well with the tummeh...

Since I’ve been on this “journey” of figuring out what actually works for my body, I’ve resorted to creating recipes by myself. It’s a safe bet because I know what’s going into it and I can make it fun.

Collagen has become a game changer. It has made my skin glow, my hair thick and strong, and I’ve also noticed that my nails grow faster. The most notable improvement though has been towards my digestive health.

After fighting a battle with food, my body has a lot to work back from. What I like about adding collagen into my daily routine is that it has so many benefits all in one. I know I am getting a good source of nutrients that will help me grow into a better me.

— 1 cup of oats — 1/2 cup of @vitalproteins cocoa caramel collagen powder — 1/3 chia seeds — 1/3 cup coconut flakes — 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds — 1/2 cup of melted coconut oil — 2 tbsp of natural, organic honey (I added a few Lilly’s Choco Chips as well)

1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Mix all dry together and fold wet in 3. Pour mix onto a sheet pan with parchment paper and press down into a thin layer (try to keep it all connected) — bake for 12 min. 4. Take it out, let it cool, and stick it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. 5. Take it out, chop it up, and store in a sealed container!

My favourite way to enjoy the granola is in my smoothies or vanilla coconut yogurt. DA BOMB.COM this is is a healthy recipe that provides great benefits not to mention, it is Joey approved (swipe hehe)!

Save this, test it out and let me know what you think!!

Would you rather make things at home than over buying them?? What do you make!!
